Instructor: Tracy Thompson
Instructor Bio: Tracy received a sewing machine as a college graduation gift in 1990 and subsequently taught herself to sew apparel. In 1994 she discovered quilting focusing initially on traditional piecing. Overtime she expanded her skill set to include foundation paper piecing, English paper piecing as well as needle turn and raw edge applique. She purchased her first longarm in 2011 and has come to specialize in custom ruler work and free-motion quilting. In 2019 she discovered Quiltworx and was hooked. While spending most of her piecing time now working on Quiltworx paper piecing patterns she has also found a renewed interest in apparel sewing and is slowly working on a complete "me made" wardrobe. She is looking forward to sharing her passion for Quiltworx and guiding you through the Broken Daisy Placemat pattern which includes Judy Niemeyer's methods of paper and curved piecing. Come get hooked too!
