Quilts of Valor Monthly Sew Days
Piecemakers of VA has a special treat for Quilts of Valor members on 13-July!
Rather than a traditional Sew Day, Piecemakers is sponsoring a free class with Sunshine's Carrie Sweet covering tips and tricks to make the 2024 Quilts of Valor block. This class will not only help you make the perfect block for QoV, but the amazing techniques are applicable to any piecing project!
Fabric will be provided by Piecemakers and the completed blocks will be used to make a future Quilt of Valor for local service members and veterans. Once you have mastered the first block, additional kits will be provided so you can practice what you have just learned!
Since this will be a sponsored class, it is important that you register on Sunshine's website so we can track attendance and ensure sufficient block kits are prepared :)
