Join our guest teacher Kathy Byrd as she teaches you how to create this stunning sunflower collage with fabric! This technique creates stunning pictures and can be used to make unique quilts! Sunflower is a great beginner friendly start to fabric collages.

**Print 2 copies of the pattern in black and white - save to your files. Print 1 full copy (6 pages) and 1 copy of the small pattern only**

| Requirements: | Sunflower pattern - purchased from FabricCollagePatterns.com Sunflower can be found under the “SHOP” tab on the first page. **Print 2 copies of the pattern in black and white - save to your files Print 1 full copy and 1 copy of pattern only (SMALL Pattern ONLY) **DO NOT ASSEMBLE** Small – 16 ½ x 11 ½ (won’t work for a standard canvas frame) Fabrics: Variety of light, medium and darks in yellows, golds, oranges and browns. (PLEASE look at the sample for ideas). Background fabrics are your choice – sample used greens. Large dots, plaids and stripes DO NOT work well with this pattern. 3/4 yard - Pattern ease 2 yards - Steam a Seam 2 (not Steam a Seam Lite) Stiff straight pins #2 pencils Parchment paper Masking tape Scotch Tape Fiskars Easy Action 5” Micro Tip Titanium Scissors (Highly recommended) Wooden Board - 20” X 20” – MUST BE WOOD Value Finder (order from The Color Wheel Company or Amazon) 6" x 24" ruler Rotary Cutter Angled tweezers with a fine point (highly recommended) |
